as a AB dweller for a long time, I really appreciate this weekend event.

Just like others, I fear this weekend will be heaven for lag as well as leechers. God I hate leechers so much that whenever I see one in a match, I keep cursing him even when the matche has ended. LOL

I can finally get a decent amount of faction. IDC about leechers unless there are more than 2 or 3. Any more than 3 and we can't cap effectively.

You also can't cap efficiently when the other team has more cappers due to your leechers.

Hi,

I think that there are things in the queue that you don't know about quite yet, and that will make this weekend more relevant. I'm not saying that anyone, personally, will like it or not. But there is a reason why it has been scheduled. I hope you'll enjoy.

W00T, the anti-leeching code is gonna debut! Or beta-test at least. That's great news, thanks Gaile!

I knew it, you're closing GW servers for the weekend!
Nah, just kidding. If it's really anti-leecher system then good job.

I kinda was referring to the 3-5 districts full of people that will be wanting to AB. I never mentioned any server limits. Its just in my experience, in AB event weekends you have to wait longer for a game due to the sheer number of teams.

this is why i think AB waiting time will be longer than usual (a very generalised and simplistic example)

Say each district holds 60 (a fair guess, but is probably less) people, and that all these people are in a 4 man team, meaning you have 15 teams waiting to go in each district. I assume these teams are placed in a queue according to who pressed "Enter Mission" first.
Now say you get your team together in District 4, as 1,2 and 3 are full, and you gogogo!
For simplicities sake, your team is the last one before the districts full, and you click your "Enter Mission" button last out of all of those teams in all the other districts, which means that your team is 60th in line.
A game starts every 30 seconds picking out the first 3 in the queue before it gets to the next 3. Being team 60 in line at this point leaves you waiting 10 minutes before you even get to play.

Now i'm not saying "You're going to wait 10 minutes for every game to start!", but I really doubt it will be smooth to get into.

Waits in AB is caused by lack of opposing teams really. Easy map = long wait, hard map is short wait. If you want to solve that problem, play AB and make sure you win

Overhaul at last to AB map etc design? Unlikely.

My guess is that the anti-leaver/leecher system will be implemented this week.

Makes sence to test this with a weekend-event that is legendary for both.

That's my proof. We have all the groups we need joining but still need to wait.
Please show how you counted 3 separate teams on each side who all had clicked enter mission and all missed the same AB match start. If you don't have that, you don't have proof.
